"Cyclone" - I like the swirling nature of this name.

One sounds like a new Arcade Board for sure. The other is a game no doubt, but sounds like a new IP to me.

Great find, +1 karma points.

Edit: I can already hear the bullshit about SEGA Cyclone being a new console... This is prime BS material.

Although Sega Nerd member Lan Di, claimed that its related to the old Sega Amusements UK 3rd party indie developed Simulator "Tyhoon", he did not provide a source of his claim.  Cyclone and Typhoon are too different things and in common terms a Cyclone is a Old World term for a Twister. Did he miss that? Two references to Miles Prower's Biplane "Tornado" and Mecha Weapon "Cyclone"?

It is highly likely that "Cyclone" is certainly a NEW Arcade Development Kit and perhaps the long scrapped High End Arcade Next Gen project"SEGA DRIVE", but considering that SEGA filed a SDK Trademark last year in the WIPO called "Cathode" that hasn't yet been used:https://trademarks.justia.com/791/47/cathode-79147094.html

There's no telling whether or not Cyclone will be used for Arcade parts, fittings and accessories which is the common method SEGA uses to build home consumer products.

We'll have to find out.

So to recap: SEGA Interactive,Sega Live Creation,Cathode,V-Gadget,SEGA restructures, drops "Sega Corp" label,  frequently discusses past candidly, mentions and references its OLDER veteran fans and teases them towards the prospect, expands its Global Amusement Business, and WIPO applications full descriptions of various HARDWARE development with descriptions like: Home Video Game Machines;Parts and Fittings of Arcade Amusement Machines and Arcade Game Machines; Headphones; Memory Cards for Game Machine; Controllers for Game Consoles; Stand Alone Output Video Game Machines".

Was the year 2015 perhaps the dawning of a SEGA Renaissance? ??? ??? ??

We'll find out for sure in 2016.

Kinda tired of the cookie cutter anime style for Sega's mobile games.
